Chad Graeve the director of the nature center led a field trip on Badger ridge trail. It went through a deciduous forest first , then through mixed forest-prairie and then through Loess hill prairie. Several of the plants listed were not in bloom but were identified by their foliage. The plants are named here in the order they were observed. (* = introduced, naturalized species)
